Include your iOS version and, if the issue concerns an import, which app the file came from (LogTen, ForeFlight, other) — the import screen's fidelity report is the most useful thing you can attach.
How do I import from LogTen? In LogTen use More → Reports → Export Flights (Tab) and share the file to FlightLedger, or open it from the Import screen. Avoid the "Dynamic Export" — LogTen silently filters it to the current view, and the app will warn you if it detects one.
How do I import from ForeFlight? On foreflight.com open Logbook → the gear menu → Export as CSV, then open that file from FlightLedger's Import screen. Both sections of the file (aircraft and flights) are read.
The imported totals don't match my old app. The fidelity report after every import shows source totals next to imported totals with reasons for every skipped row (usually duplicates). If something still looks wrong, email us the report — never the logbook itself unless you choose to.
Where does night time come from? From solar geometry: the app samples your route minute-by-minute against civil twilight (sun 6° below the horizon, the FAR 1.1 definition) using the bundled airport database. The night landing currency window (sunset+1h to sunrise−1h, § 61.57(b)) is deliberately a different rule, and the app tracks both correctly.
How do I restore Lifetime on a new device? More → Settings → Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account.
How do I move my logbook to a new phone? More → Data safety → Export everything (JSON), save to iCloud Drive, then Restore from backup on the new phone. Backups are also created automatically whenever your logbook changes.
